Maternal-fetal flowmetry is an advanced ultrasound examination that assesses blood flow between the mother and fetus via the umbilical cord and placenta. This test is particularly beneficial for monitoring fetal health in high-risk pregnancies where there are concerns about growth issues, maternal hypertension, preeclampsia, or placental abnormalities.
